Abstract

An analysis of the designs of modern combined stop-control valves for high-power steam turbines is presented. Comparative analysis allowed us to determine the main advantages and disadvantages of the structures, and their operation reliability. It is shown that the use of the above structures leads to a decrease in hydraulic resistance, metal consumption and greatly simplifies the layout of the steam distribution unit.
