Publishing Ethics

Authors’ Ethics

The authors are fully responsible for the novelty and reliability of the results of their scientific research. Knowingly false or falsified materials are unacceptable.

It is prohibited to submit the manuscript that has been sent to another issue/journal and is under consideration, as well as materials that have already been published. In exceptional cases, authors may apply to the editorial board, explanining the reasons of re-publication.

Any form of plagiarism and text borrowings without referring are inadmissible.

All those who have made a significant contribution to the research (including the ideas formulation and research methods development, as well as results obtaining and analysis) must be regarded as co-authors. If the contribution of other persons to the study is insignificant, the corresponding information must be indicated after the main text of the article in the ‘Acknowledgments’ section. The contribution of all the individuals and organizations that have influenced the course of research in one way or another should be acknowledged.

All the sources of research funding must be indicated. The authors must clearly state financial or other forms of potential conflicts of interest that may affect the results of the research or their interpretation.

The author, who is responsible for correspondence with the editorial board, is fully responsible for familiarization of all the co-authors with the process of the article reviewing, revising, and editing. He or she approves the final version of the article for publication on behalf of all the co-authors.

If author violates ethic standards, the editorial board of the journal reserves the right to refuse the author in publishing his article(s).

Reviewer’s Ethics

The reviewer must objectively assess the scientific novelty and reliability of the material presented in the manuscript, as well as determine whether the paper corresponds to scientific and literary standards. The review must be submitted in a timely manner. The conclusions of the review must be clearly substantiated.

The reviewer must respect the intellectual independence of the authors.

When reviewing the manuscript, the reviewer must adhere to the principle of confidentiality. It is prohibited to show the manuscript to other persons or discuss it with colleagues, except for special cases where the reviewer needs someone else’s special advice.

The reviewer has no right to use the information obtained during the review of the article for personal purposes, including any personal gain. If there is a conflict of interest (cooperation or competition with any author of the article or the institution in which the work was performed, etc.), the reviewer must refuse to review.

If reviewer violates ethic standards, the editorial board does not take into account his review and sends the article to another reviewer.
The editorial board of the journal reserve the right not to involve a reviewer, who has violated ethical standards, in reviewing other articles.

Editor’s Ethics

The editorial board is responsible for the decision about the article’s publication.

When deciding on the publication of the manuscript, the editor of the Journal is guided by their own judgment about the scientific significance of the paper, and by the reviews.

Based on the principles of confidentiality, the materials under consideration of the editorial board must not be used for personal purposes or transferred to third parties (with the exception of the reviewers and the publisher) without the written consent of the author(s). The same applies to the rejected articles.

The editorial board makes every effort to avoid copyright infringement, plagiarism or other unlawful actions by the authors. It is not allowed to publish the work if there is a sufficient reason to believe that it is plagiarized.

In case of conflict of interest, the editor must inform the author(s) about the conflict.
