Abstract
The results of the study of the electromagnetic vortex-current sensor for a flaw detector with a W-shaped core are presented. The processes occurring in the core and the material under control are revealed. The variants without cracks in the controlled material, with a crack, and with several cracks are considered. Formulas for determining sensor parameters are derived.
